Adam

Hi, I am Adam.  Since first coming to camp when, when I was ten years old, I have found amazing friends who I still grow in my faith with today. Being on Team at OLVC has also helped me to find my calling to be a teacher. I am blessed to be on Team this summer after recently finishing my teaching degree.

Carley

Hello There! My name is Carley. I am a TEAM Leader at OLVC. I have been coming to camp for 14 years now and still enjoy everything that OLVC has to offer. What keeps drawing me back to camp is the Faith aspect of OLVC. I not only get to grow in my faith but I get to help the youth grow stronger in their faith as well. Another thing is that the friendships that I have made in these last 14 years have been some of the strongest relationships I have in my life. I have my certificate for youth ministry studies and a Level 1 in child care. Something I enjoy doing in my spare time is photography, I love capturing all kinds of memories.

Good (insert time of day here) my name is Cassy! I have been coming to camp for 14 years, as a camper, counselor, floater, babysitter and team member.  I keep coming back year after year because camp is a place where I can be who God has created me to be and where I can grow in relationship with Christ.  Through that I am able to draw youth into a deeper relationship with God.  I have recently finished and received a certificate of Youth Ministry Studies.  I am also am very interested in photography.  I hope you have a great (Insert time of day here)!

Hi I’m Conner and I first started coming to camp about ten years ago.  I absolutely love it, and it’s a great way to spend my summers after a long school year in Engineering.  Camp to me is a place where I have a real opportunity to help kids connect and see the joy and fun in their relationship with God.  I love all sports and really anything active, as well as just hanging out and talking.

Felicia

My Name is Felicia and I’m a third-year team leader from Red Deer. I’ve been coming out to camp with my Mom since I was only a couple of months old and have always loved meeting other people with the same faith as me.  Outside of camp, I am a member of our Church’s Youth Group and Youth choir.

Katie

Hi Everyone! My name is Katie.  I am 22 years old and am from Red Deer, AB. I’ve been coming to camp since I was 11, and it truly has been life changing.  I am excited to spend the summer here in the place that was so formative in my life.  This summer I really want to bring the Gospel to the youth.  I want the whole world to know just how much God thirsts for each person, and how we can respond to that thirst by thirsting for Him in return.

Nathaniel

Picture
My name is Nathaniel, I am 19 years old and this is my forth summer at camp.  I was born into a Catholic family, which is something I sometimes struggled with.  The idea that I never knew anything else made me nervous.  I wondered if I would have chosen to be Catholic if I had not been raised that way.  Camp is one of those rare places where you see the person you want to become you learn how to become that person and you gain unending support from your peers.  That is why I keep coming back.

Ryan

Well hello there! My name is Ryan and I have been coming to this beautiful  camp for 6 years now.  I am a full time guitar teacher who is on fire with my faith!  My favorite part about working for camp is that I am also working for God!!! I also LOVE being the example that God calls me to be for hundreds of amazing kids throughout the summer! To me, nothing is more beautiful than watching youth grow in their faith.  1 Timothy 4:12 Don’t let anyone look you down because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Hi there friends, my name is Suzanne and this is my 12th summer at camp. My time at OLVC has helped me to become rooted in my faith, develop solid relationships and develop skills that I have been able to carry over into many different areas of my life.  I keep coming back for more because OLVC is home; it is where I am filled to be sent out into the world. In the fall I am transferring from Red Deer College to the University of Alberta to finish my education degree.  I love swimming, this summer I will be camp's lifeguard.   During the off season I also work as camp's Administrative Assistant, I kind of really love this place. Can’t wait to meet all of your smiling faces!

Tammy

My name is Tammy and I have been coming to OLVC for 12 years now.  Camp has helped me to grow in my relationship with God, and it has helped me to form lifelong friendships.  I am from Three Hills, but I am currently living in Edmonton as I am attending the University of Alberta for my last year of my Bachelors of Education (Elementary).  In my free time I enjoy dance, music and spending time with my family.  I am really looking forward to this summer.

Taylor

My name is Taylor and I am from Camrose.  This is my 10th summer at Our Lady of Victory Camp.  I am also a student at Augustana and have completed my second year Bachelors of Arts with a major in Physical Education and Drama.  I will also be taking my Bachelors of Education Degree and will become a teacher.  The reason I keep coming to OLVC is so I can reach out to others and help them grow in their faith.  OLVC has also helped me grow in my own faith.
