About the Team

OLVC is run by a group of dedicated young adults, who give up weeks of their summer in order to provide campers and counselors with an opportunity to come to know God.

At present, there are over 50 Team members, who vollunteer to serve in the various OLVC ministries. At any given week in the summer, OLVC will have 10-30 team members present, as well as cooks, a nurse and directors.

The Team themselves come from a variety of backgrounds and professions, and includes teachers, nurses, lifeguards, and youth coordinators. Each one has made a commitment to live out their faith, and to grow in it throughout the year. Team are expected to have a daily prayer life, frequent the sacraments, and read assigned books to further their spiritual development. We have 4 team meetings each year during the school year, where team meets to plan and pray for a great summer program. The friendships forged on team last a lifetime, as team quickly becomes one anothers primary support in the faith.

The most remarkable thing about the TEAM is seeing so many cool and fun young adults who are dedicated to serving and loving Christ, and to bringing others into a deeper relationship with Him.
